first observation
When i went to the starbucks in the student center and learning everything we did i observed. The people that i observed were the customers. When i first got there was a girl on laptop drinking a grande coffee she was looking at her computer with great concentration. After sitting there for a while i noticed that she would type a few words and then take a sip of her coffee. Many people came and went. I noticed that when guys went up there to order their drinks they mostly ordered coffee in either a grande or venti size. When girls went up there they mostly got the smallest size and they usually got tea and frappcinos. There were a bunch of girls standing in line talking excitedly and they were all dressed in white. Some of their bags had Sigma Sigma Sigma on it and it was their initation today. There was a girl and guy sitting at a table the guy was looking at the newspaper while the girl was leaning across the table smiling and flipping her hair.

I like where you are going with this observation! I think it's interesting that you picked up on male/female dynamics... both in interpersonal interactions and the drinks they order. I wonder if those trends will continue. What time and day did you observe? Do you think things would be different at another time? Also, as you continue, be sure to expand upon these details, to really give your audience a complete picture of what you're seeing.
